I notice at sharp angles you can see golds, how do I avoid this ?
Less pigment load ?
Yes, reducing the pigment load can definitely help minimize the gold tones showing at sharp angles. HyperShift pigments naturally shift through multiple colors depending on the viewing angle and lighting, so some gold reflection is part of the effect with ZTU.
You can also try:
Applying lighter coats
Spraying over a different base color
Increasing spray distance slightly for a finer orientation
A lower concentration usually gives a cleaner and more controlled shift overall. Testing a few small variations in mix ratio is the best way to dial in the exact look you're after.
