What size spray nozzle would you recommend for pigment?

1.3 mm to 1.5 mm spray nozzle
– This is the sweet spot for most color shift pearls in that micron range.
– It allows enough flow for the pigment without clogging, while maintaining smooth atomization for a fine finish.

Can this be used with gel coat?

It should work on any clear medium and works best over black or any darker base.

Each basecoat gives a unique result, but for a clear black-to-purple shift, we recommend using a black base. If you’d like to try a different base, we suggest testing a small sample first to see how it turns out before moving to a full-scale application.

Yes, you can. Please refer to our suggested mixing ratio.

Can this be added to a powder coat clear and cured in an oven?

Yes, they work with powder coat and our suggested mixing ratio is 5-10% of pigment by the weight of the clear powder.
