QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Hello, I’m looking for pigments with magnetic properties pearls and micas etc… for manipulation in large epoxy resin projects similar to cat eye but on a larger scale for special effects. Do you carry pigments with ferro magnetic properties? Do you carry color shifts with these properties where a magnet in epoxy resin or a similar medium could separate out each color? Similar to this video ? This is what I am looking for on a larger scale for counter tops and wall art etc… please see the attached YouTube short video of the type of ‘Magnetic’ pigment powder I’m looking for to mix into epoxy resin https://youtube.com/shorts/Fds9KteBXWo?si=ZV1KJImWMq8n8CYF

Thank you for reaching out! At the moment, we do not carry any pigments with magnetic or ferromagnetic properties like the ones shown in the video. All of our pearls and pigments are cosmetic-grade except for the Carbon Series Pearls since they contain aluminum and designed to be mixed with any clear medium such as epoxy, resin, paint, or dip — but they are not magnet-reactive.

That said, our pearl and color shift pigments can still create stunning effects for resin art and countertops! You can explore more about our products and their effects in our brochure here: Speedshape Brochure

  • Hello! Is your GALAXY COLORSHIFT PEARL safe for lip and eye cosmetics? Thanks!

Yes, this color is safe for cosmetics use.

  • I have a 04 suburban that is standard black would I need to prime it or can I just sand it and galaxy color shift pearl it? What kit would I need to do my suburban?

For optimal results and durability, it's recommended to prime the surface before applying our Galaxy Colorshift Pearl. You would only need to mix this colorshift with a clear of you choice and spray on black base.
