Ask a Question
  • How much pearls would be needed for both fenders, the gas tank and 2 small covers on a Yamaha Virago bike

12.5-25 grams for 1-2 quarts for should be enough.

  • Have you ever used any of your products with Aviation paint? I have a gloss black single stage on a plane that I would be applying your product on top of. I would like to mix ZRG Hypershift with the Aviation Clear. The product I would be mixing with is AERO-THANE 100 CLEAR by Poly Fiber. It a high-gloss two part polyurethane that is similar to Auto paint, but has more elastic properties. It will flex and bend and has better UV properties than standard auto paint. ZRG would be applied to create accent markings (e.g. stripes and shapes). The entire plane will not be painted, but a large percentage of it will have ZRG. I am thinking that I would spray 2-3 coats ZRG with clear on the shaped masked areas, remove the masking after a couple of hours and let it dry for about a week. Then lightly sand the ZRG and the non ZRG areas and apply clear over everything. Do you foresee any issues? Any recommendations?

    Hi there,

The ZRG HyperShift is incredibly versatile and can be seamlessly mixed with any clear medium or colored paint from any brand. I'm confident it will suit your needs, especially if applied over a black base. Let me know if you have any further questions or if there's anything else I can assist you with.

  • Love the ZRG hypershift pearl the orange that u did on YouTube. How much do I need to do a bagger? Would love this color on my Harley. Do you have a kit that will do the bike. Never seen a bike done like this , may be the 1st

That would be the first bike indeed! If you'll be mixing it with a peelable clear/paint, you're gonna need 12.5 grams per half gallon and 25 grams per half gallon if with a standard automotive clear.

  • Can I spray this shift over a orange base coat

Yes, you sure can but the end result might be different from what is being advertised. Each base color yields a different result.

  • If I would want to block the clear with # 1500 and #2000 grit wet before buffing would you recommend two additional coats of clear over the clear with the hyper shift pearls ?

Yes, you can seal it for extra protection.

  • Can you mix these hyper shift and pearls with any other clear coats so it will not peel off?

Yes, you can. You can use it with a Standard Automotive Clear (any brand)

  • Am i able to purchase this hypershift in the UK

Yes, you can. We do ship internationally via DHL.
